Shri Mohandas Ranjhomal Valecha

Dada Mohandas Ranjhan Valecha born on 4-Feb-1945 Gadhiyasen (Sindh, Undivided India) was Supporter of Sindhi Language and Culture. He left for heavenly abode on 14th February, 2022.

Shree Mohandas Valecha was born as a grandson in the well known business family of Seth Motiram Meharchand Valecha. Father Kavi Master Ranjhan Valecha was a renowned Sindhi poet, song composer and lyricist. In his early age, during partition the entire family had to leave everything behind after which they came and settled in Ulhasnagar. There they started again from scratch.Being the eldest son of the family Mr.Mohan a self-made man started sharing his family's responsibilities along with his father​ at a very young age. He started working​ in different small industries where he learnt the working of lathe machine and the art of mould making for unique products and there began the dream of entrepreneurship.With his hard work and determination in​ 1969, he started his small factory with one machine and started manufacturing water treatment components.

Expanding day by day with aptitude and mastery in his field, in 1980 Shree Mohandas ji started with 2 more factories one in Ulhasnagar and other in Mulund . Further in 1999 flying the wings in South India and opening a new unit in​ Hosur, Tamil Nadu.​ serving and diversifying his expertise in Automobile industry. They were also selected by ET NOW News Channel for​ the India's Top 5 for​ Leaders of Tomorrow' & several other​ recognitions.

Since the very beginning Shree Mohandas Ji had the motto of helping others and contributing to the betterment of people around him. As Master Ranjhan was World Famous Poet and saint by nature, after his death in 1981, in his beloved father's memory, Shree Mohandas ji used to organise several Varsi Utsav's and his father's birthday every year in different places. Shree Mohandas organised Sindhi Chowki every week at his residence. He was a person who believed in giving back to society.....he started a book library, in memory of Master Ranjhan Sahib ji. All these he used to do as a passion of giving back to the society, community. Apart from this, he promoted Sindhi culture through gatherings and celebrated the essence of it.

In 2015, a community hall - Master Ranjhan Sindhu Bhavan (MRSB) was established in loving memory of his beloved father Kavi Master Ranjhan, with the sole aim of celebrating and promoting Sindhyat.

A Sindhi Musical Dhamaka was organised on every 3rd Sunday of the month. Singers and artists all over India were invited to showcase their talent. Several other gatherings such as skit, bhagat, folk dance performances, fancy dress, 101 Behrana, 101 Sukhmani,​ Sindhi food festivals, celebration of​ festivals.. everything in our mother language Sindhi were organized at MRSB.​ Even social & cultural activities like health check-ups, camps, daily free yoga & free summer/training camps for the youth were conducted time to time at MRSB. He also organised film shows at theature to promote Sindhi language amongst the younger generation.

Apart from this he made Documentary Film 'Sindhi Sangeet Samraat' on his father Kavi Master Ranjhan, published books penned by Kavi Master Ranjhan Sahib 'Raag Saa Rejhaai' and 'Ranjhan Ju Rahaniun', video songs album 'Raag Saa Rejhaai' in his voice.

He has been felicitated by various organisations for Promoting Sindhi Culture & Traditions. He was the man of his principles and worked towards it. He believed in working hard and goals and success will be its by product. Till his last breathe he worked and promoted SINDHIYAT.
