I am a Sindhi. Our mother tongue, the Sindhi language and its literature, is gradually fading away. I belong to the third generation of my family, whose grandparents were compelled to leave their homeland in search of a new life. I was raised in a household where the majority of our time was dedicated to making a living. The Partition had a devastating impact on every Sindhi's life, forcing them to rebuild their existence from scratch. Today, Sindhis are dispersed across the globe, often feeling like outsiders as they lack knowledge about their own culture, heritage, and language.

I have always felt a strong desire to preserve and promote our mother tongue and the wealth of knowledge associated with it. I completed my education in a Sindhi medium school and have been conducting research on various aspects of our culture and language. I believe it is essential to compile all this information in one place before it is lost in books that remain unread, as our language is now represented in multiple scripts.
