The Indian Institute of Sindhology place for advanced studies and research in the fields related to Sindhi language, literature, education, art and culture. Its primary aim is to preserve & promote the cultural heritage of Sindhi Community and ensure its continuity by disseminating it in the younger generation. IIS started in the year 1990 in Adipur, Gujarat, India.

IIS celebrated 25 years of Sindhology in the year 2015 where chief patrons were Dada J.P. Vaswani & Shri L.K.Advani. Trustees Dr. Ram Buxani
