Biography

Born on 28th May 1947 at Jecobababad Sindh, Bineeta was still in her mother’s laps when family was forced to migrate India and gets settled at Ahmedabad in Gujrat. Both father Ram Thavani and Mother Sheela Devi take very affectionate care of childhood of their lovely daughter Bineeta. She was sent to Mount Carmel High School, one of the finest schools of city for schooling. After completing education Bineeta got married with Ram Bhajandas Nagpal, having job at Mumbai. The couple is blessed with two sons, presently both are married and well settled in life.

Bineeta Nagpal is a multifield personality, she is a Producer and Director, an author, a social activist, a Dancer and Promoter of rich Sindhi heritage by means of Stage programs. She is renowned for presenting Sindhi Lada marriage ritual songs, with true essence of Sindhi cultural and matching with liking and style of Sindhi youth of modern era. Bineeta is famous for presenting these cultural stage shows by training local Sindhi shows by training local Sindhi artists (even by non sindhi artist) within short span of time.

Since past more than two decades Bineeta Nagpal is one among the successful and innovative Sindhi personalities of electronic media. Bineeta has also credit of first ever Sindhi Telefilm Begu Barrister for DD. She has also produced and directed fifty episode of Sindhi program Mitti-ay ji Mahak for satellite Channel Astha. As far as Sindhi cultural stage shows are concerned Bineeta has presented these worldwide, if we go by count of countries the number of countries will go beyond 130.

To support her efforts for propagation of Sindhi heritage and Sindhi language Bineeta has also founded B.N. Foundation, an institution which are known for organizing national and international seminars on Sindhi personalities and topics related with Sindhyat.

Bineeta also has credit of being first lady member of Electric Merchant Association Mumbai. This might be the blessing of omnipresent God, Sindhi Ishta Dev Lord Jhulelal that Bineeta has tested success in every role, daughter, wife, mother, business woman, social worker, promoter of Sindhyat.
