Mac Mohan (born Mohan Makijany) was a renowned Indian character actor best remembered for playing Sambha in the classic Hindi film Sholay. Although he had only a few lines in the movie, his portrayal became iconic in Indian cinema. He was born on 24 April, 1938 Karachi, British India. He left for heavenly abode on 10th May, 2010 in Mumbai after long battle with Lung Cancer.
