The “Priest-King” Sculpture

• Material: Steatite (soapstone)
• Features: Bearded face, half-closed eyes, trefoil-patterned shawl
• Significance: Possibly a ritual leader or elite figure; shows advanced stone carving and textile depiction
• Shawl patterns on the Priest-King indicate woven or embroidered textiles

There are many misconceptions around Shawl of Priest-King that it is Ajrak. As per researchers it believed to be Embroidery work on the cloth/shawl worn by the Priest King. No such block artefacts were found which are used for Ajrak Printing.
